Your post today answers a question I&#...Hi Loriann,<br />Your post today answers a question I've had for awhile in reading all your interesting posts on Memory Painting. When I was working on my memory painting for your blog invitation to submit our own paintings, I questioned where my memory left off and invention began. My intention was to submit exactly and only the scene in my memory, but as I worked along I started to "invent", I guess, and included ideas that I know were not in the original scene. I didn't submit the painting as I felt it might be more invention than the original memory. Now I realize that's a natural outcome of this process.
