7x8 pastel on wallis $100 plus tax and shipThis was done as a study for a bigger painting. I love and struggle with paintings that have "less." As with all paintings they must work as an abstract first, but with "less" it seems the pressure is more. I used a photo that I took this summer. It had a beautiful heron hunting for its breakfast in the foreground. She is gone, for now. Let's see if she appears in the bigger version. This time she was only a distraction.
