This morning, as I stood in the woods surrounding the river I all of a sudden noticed a very male presence. The footsteps were just feet away. My heart raced. I turned around to find a teenage buck wondering what I was doing in HIS turf. Phew! Ah! The wonders of the river never cease to amaze me.
