May 26, 2008 Still Water, Early Morning

Sometimes it still amazes me that I can begin with a blank sheet of paper/board and within hours create a 3d image on a 2d surface! I am still at Chincoteague and this morning was VERY still. On top of the marshy waters lay a film of pollen and stuff that reflected a lot of light. It made a very different look...all those particles reflecting different colors of light, sky, landscape and if the water was shallow picking up the underlying colors.
