9x12 pastel on paperLate last night I returned from Colorado. I thought I would be itching to paint from my new mountains photos. Instead, when driving out to Maryland emissions inspection center, I noticed a new river- the Patuxent. It was around noon, so the sun was high and the fishing looked good. Since I always travel with my paints and pastels I was ready to go. It always amazing me just how many colors are in the river.
