6.5x 10.5 pastel and frozen watercolor on Uart paper $100. plus tax
Looking at a much familiar place with new, loving eyes is always my goal. This time I set up the composition differently and later I was aided by the presence of a few lovely flakes falling from the sky. The sky had a grayed shade of pink that seemed to become warmer and oranger as it moved forward.

Nice work Loriann. I love the harmony of the sky and water surface and the movement within the masses. Another beauty!
Thanks Brian!
This is the first time I have been satisfied with the water. It is always my challenge that's why I do it again and again.

I love the simplicity and the colors. I noticed you are following my blog, thank you and I signed up to follow yours. What a nice surprise to be introduced to you. Look forward to seeing more. I also love your honesty about removing a study the other day.

Hi Linda and welcome to my blog. Thank you also for signing up to follow mine. I love your work and I consider it an honor for you to check in.
As for the honesty...posting a painting daily is quite a challenge. I realize that yes, there will be dogs. But still, it really bugged me that my dog was floating out there in cyberspace. It's funny how I kept thinking about it and of course wanted to redeem myself. Arrrrrgh.
Till next time,
Loriann
I love this composition!! That strip of ochre-y color in the foreground is magnificent...I can 'step' right into the image with that there.
Thanks Karen! It is amazing how many compositions one can make from the same view. I am certain I have not finished yet. Off to check your blog.
