about 6x8 pastel and watercolor on Uart paper $100.
Upon hearing predictions of dense fog for the morning I set my alarm to awaken at 5:30 so I could be there waiting at the reservoir. I was surprised to see that it was so dense I could not see the water. I walked; I waited. Then I turned my easel and painted the trees near the reservoir.

Surprise often leads to good work.

I like the colors on this one. I also like the way the left tree kind of fades into the fog---very nice touch.
Okay you're crazy, in a good way. I think I've set my alarm most days on this trip and promptly turned it off when it rang.
Hi Bob,
You are right about that. It seems like your different bodies of water, river, canal and stream, are doing that for you too. This changing season can bring many amazing moments.
Crazy as a loon and happy to be that way Karen....hee hee. I simply can't resist dawn and FOG and when you combine the two, I'm a goner.
Enjoy your trip. I can't wait to see your new paintings from the workshop and I was sorry to hear about the airport security problem.
Till later..........
5:30 am! --You won't find me ever awake before noon unless I have no control over the situation.
This is lovely
Jala, You must be a night owl then.
As for me, I LOVE daybreak. Check it out sometime you never know.
And thank you.
