Olana Glow

Here is the next step. I left it as a larger jpeg so that the grey/ golden steps could be seen. It's almost done. I think.

yes, yes, and yes. It's gaining depth and substance, and 'body'. Will you post all steps together so I can examine them at once? :)

Thanks Karen..My wonder right now is the clump of tree is the right bottom corner. When I saw them at the golden moment (after my 1st painting)the light was glowing on a part of those forward trees...but I wonder now if it adds or takes away. Hmmm..what do you think?

Well that's an interesting question, because when I get rid of it, my eye connects the blue in the left bottom corner to the blue in the mid-distance (on the right) a lot more, which, in a way, leads me in more easily. And then that blue glows a lot more too.
hmmmmm.
