Trying to make the correct light key with a controlled palette, that was today's only goal. The winds were whipping and the clouds kept changing the light- sunny/ cloudy. I tried hard not to chase. Happy Mother's Day!
I don't think you chased at all. I think it's a daring move to leave that huge area of foreground water like that. I so admire braveness in painting...it's so hard to do.
