Shenandoah Glass

Another one of my crazy moments...I painted this one on a tiny bridge over the Shenandoah River. Truck and cars whizzed by me. There was no sidewalk, but the view was awesome.

Really beautiful, Loriann! I know we should tell you that it's too dangerous to paint like that but we all know a camera won't see colors like you do. I have a question, if you don't mind. In a painting like this where a lot of the interest is on the water, is it possible to leave the sky out entirely? If we crop off the sky we can still see it in the reflections on the water. Do we have to show the sky? (oops, 2 questions)

You are a wild woman, with the cars. I don't know how you do it.

Good question Donna. Leave out the sky, that would make a whole different feel. It's definitely a choice.

Hi Karen! :-)
