9x15 pastel on Uart paper
The question is always, how much do you really need to put in your painting? Leave some for the viewer to complete. Allow the viewer to be part of the experience. To do that you must tiptoe into your work. That way you only paint what is essential and leave out the rest.
Words of wisdom from Richard.

I love this! I really enjoy seeing the effects of the watercolor on the surface and the weaving of the pastels to make this a beautiful work of art.
Hi Loriann, This is so beautiful. The expanse of space, depth, and gorgeous reflections is amazing! Well done my blog friend.
Thanks Dori and Susan! the reflective quality of water is an amazing thing!
This is a stunning painting, Loriann. I like the color in the sky and trees very much and the reflections in the water are beautiful - wonderful work!
Thanks so much Brian!
