roads and intrigue

9x12 pastel and watercolor on Uart
Roads leading in and away are always intriguing. They tend to make you wonder what is beyond. I had to walk over the hill before I could paint this. Maybe next time I will paint what's on the other side...till then you can wonder.???????

Beautiful, Loriann - lovely color and soft edges. I'm enjoying the calligraphy in your mark-making, too, and am tempted to try to make out letters and words in some of those swirling lines.

Hi PB and thank you!!!! Another challenge...I am glad that you like it.

Hi Brian, Those calligraphy like marks have become the most fun for me.I try to hold back to the end....otherwise it would take over. Thanks so much for noticing!
