The camera does not give you what is important. How do you feel about the color. Let the notan set you free. What about that scene intrigues you. That and the notan will tell you what to do.
Oh my gosh, this play of color blows me away. I am trying to open up to the magic of notan, but am really struggling with it. I think I am worrying that the darks that I see are not adding up to a balanced plan. Maybe I should worry less about the rules of art and just go for the feeling as you said in this post. I am so enjoying this series!!!!!!
