I have begun a new series. Clouds. This series will overlap vanishing boundaries as soon as I feel I understand their nature. My studio notebook is full of observations of clouds noticed. The diaphanous nature of clouds draws me inside. Delicate at one time and powerful at another clouds can express many emotions. One of my instagram followers said it well. "I feel like these clouds (you make) represent moods we don't yet have language for." I love that statement. (Thank you Berdine.) I have created twenty five so far. I will do at least 100. Here I show you the clouds in oil. Maybe next time I'll share observations in my studio notebook.
