It's beautiful! When / where / how will you auction it?

Thanks L1, I am not sure yet. I am going to contact NIH (National Institute of Health.)
It really does remind me of my Mom.

What is it that reminds you of her? Maybe you should have one for your house too.

I am not sure exactly how to explain. First, the painting was begun with my Mom in my mind all the time, it was for her. While I painted I filled the air with her favorite arias, music I had heard for years through my childhood. I painted during her birthday week, during which I always savor memories of her. Also, I deliberately used her favorite color, orange. In addition I intentionally kept the painting subdued to represent missing, longing. The whole idea of "hope" crept in without planning. Funny how the longer I painted the more it appeared. I really do like this painting. I am not sure for which reason it is.
Thanks for asking L1! You always have such insightful questions and thoughts.
