about 8 x12 pastel on watercolor/Uart paperAs per Karen's advice, I had the chocolate and the plein air. When it stopped raining for a short time I zipped out to the reservoir. It's all brand new!!!! To celebrate I underpainted this one with lots of magenta and purple. Fun.

Karen..you are right a dynamic combo! Being outside again was like coming back home. I guess I am really not a studio painter for it is outside where my heart sings. How about you?
Wow, so so colorful and yet it all works together.
I think I'm an outsider too, but then again I do like the slow, reflective qualities that the studio allows. We need both!
