3 paintings for the Shades of Pastel Exhibtion

I am honored to be part of the Shades of Pastel Biennial Exhibition at the Strathmore.    I picked my paintings up  from my framers today and I will deliver them tomorrow to the Strathmore.  The show opens on the 26th of September.  If you are in the area please do stop by to see all the beautiful paintings by artists from all over the country. I can't wait to see!
Wish me luck :-)

These are great choices Loriann. I love em all.
I wish I could be there to see this show ... I love looking at other artists work.

I wish you all the best for the show, just enjoy yourself.

Headed home on Sunday with far to many ideas and reference. I've got to start prioritizing.

I do wish I could be there in person. I'm always with you in spirit. I think all three will place but "Formidable" and "Topez" will compete with each other for best in show. Luck has nothing to do with it!

Hi Loriann,
Topaz Serenity-absolutely beautiful color especially that left side The red shape has a richness to it.I also like the way you created depth in this painting. I think that with this painting there are new avenues ,{color and space } opening up for you to explore. You selected three complete paintings to show. Good luck with the exhibition

Hey Buddy!
Cant' wait to see all your Maine ideas. It is so hard to prioritize. When one has the momentum from the trip you want to do them all, when it's still fresh. Thanks about the show. They are there. My only work now is to paint more.

Hey NJ
Thank you about Topaz Serenity. That one just came together. After all my daily paintings in that one spot last year it just flowed directly from the feeling. I do hope you are right about the new avenues!

Hi Anita and big thank you to you!!!

Gosh, three gorgeous paintings Loriann! I think I saw a glimpse of Formidable, yet Silent when I dropped mine off today. I knew that had to be yours! I really hope to see you win an award or two - you have such a unique vision and it deserves to be recognized. I'm just thrilled to have one painting in this kind of show!
