straddling abstract

How much to leave in and how much to take out... that is the question. Today I started with a very abstract underpainting and than snuck up on it, little by little till you can read what it is yet straddles abstract.

Yes when you sneak up on it, you don't tend to put in as much unnecessary stuff! These are looking so great lately!!

I've been so blown away with your spectacular work. I've been by, but mouth agape, have trouble finding the right words to describe how wondrous these recent four works are.

I'm beginning to think you could make one or two marks on paper and it would evoke worlds.

Keep going!

Hi Karen, the woman who sings the grays, seems like we are exploring similar ideas. Enjoy!

Hi B,

Beautiful impressionistic painting. I think you've straddled the line between abstract and objective.

I think this is one of your best pieces, probably in the top 10 of Doug's list.

Hope all is well, going on a sketchcrawl tomorrow.
I let you know later.
