december blue twilight/memory painting

I am seriously on a roll. Same field in December twilight. Memory painting.
Warm next to cool... my goal is to internalize, not represent.

Congratulations on your epiphany, Loriann! I'm waiting for and working towards a breakthrough of my own, sometimes it feels like I'm getting close... Your goal of internalizing over representation resonates strongly with me. I love what's happening with your paintings in response to this goal. This feels intuitive, loose, and spontaneous - like you are "feeling" your way through the painting process. Keep rolling with it!

Hi B,

Love the way you handled the horizon line. Kind of different for you. The light is awesome.

Yes I did, and it feels like Solstice came a little earlier; it seems brighter already! Thanks for the info.

I like it. It has a very soft feel to it.

This is great. I'm loving that you're doing some darker and richer values lately, they seem very bold and moving.

Hi Brent, Thank you. It is interesting that it feels soft (and you are right) when I used such high chroma. Now what does that say?

Hi Jala, Thanks! I just realized our choices have been somewhat similar lately. It's funny these really stand out on my recent painting wall!

Hi Sadia and thank you!
