moondance

With the memory of Wednesday and Thursday night's full moon firmly in my mind I painted this in the studio.
This one is for my best friend in the world, Leah.

Leah, I am glad you like it! I sure wish I could make it to Nova Scotia for the blue moon.

Very beautiful.

It reminds me of those cool nights where there’s ice crystals high in the air and they seem to shimmer with slowly changing rivers of colour as the wind carries it.

Thanks Niels. I know what you mean about the ice crystals...I love those skies. Wonderful words you used to describe it too.

Hi B,

This shows how much fun you had creating this piece.
Wild colors and great impression.

Hey, did you have a nice birthday and how is Paul doing? You take care.

Beautiful colors, darks. I see a cross (as in, a Christian cross) in the top left.

That's funny Jala. I was so much in my head with the negative shapes I never thought of it that way. It was a telephone pole that inspired that shape.hee hee..go figure!
