dusk

6x6 pastel on gray BFK
Sepia, black and white on a toned paper, rubbed, scratched, erased and just generally abused. Ideas keep coming. More tomorrow.

I like rubbed, scratched, erased, but you started with sepia, black and white so you would have something to rub, scratch and erase. Sounds like a good plan with a good result.

When you work the image as you have, it really does take on the environment you visited, plus your engagement with it. Really evocative and lovely.
