plein air study at twilight

10x10 pastel on BFK
My goals were just to study color and stay warm..... believe me it's cold out there at twilight!!!!! Hints of warm spill over from the train station's outdoor lights and one window.

Nice sky! The movement and colour give it a Northern Lights quality.

First snow day here in the HRM.

Oh, it's another ahhh moment... this is really one of my faves! How fortunate for us that you were there with your colormania to record this. (I know it's so not PC, but I really love the glow of incandescent.)

Thank Leah! Finally snow makes it to the great white north! Enjoy your day off!

Hey PB! How's the shoulder? Sleeping? I think you are the brave soul, not me. Thank you though;-) b

Hi Sam!
One of your faves, eh? Thanks! Sometimes incandescents are OK...especially that warm yellow orange glow they make. Colormania???

The purples and blues are really dancing with the yellows and orange with this one. I have been checking your blog post through google reader for awhile. I always look forward to your daily landscapes.

I see someone else thought of northern lights. Love the colors, and expressions of light.
