can a road be a river?

Can a road be a river?
I didn't have a lot of time for my vitamin today so I drove down the road and looked up. Felt like a river, except it had lines. Tried to feel the light as it hit the street (hard) and as it filtered though the trees (soft).

Even with its double yellow, this river moves nicely.

Nice - and yes, roads and rivers, very similar in a composition. To me, anyway.

Thanks Sam, I couldn't resist those stripes!

Hi Lisa, queen of the open road. I understand the attraction now.

Roll on river roll on, down the highway to the end where it enters the city and disappears. OK, I have no clue where all that was headed. Love the painting.
