3 year old blog gets a new name and needs your help

top,-pastel 8x10 Uart, bottom -oil on linen
At the top is another plein air study of the field at sunset. I am trying to make the "burnout" that happens when the light is SOOOO bright.  When light is intensely bright it will burn out the darks nearby, note the lemon yellow as it touches the trees.
Underneath is the underpainting for the next oil that will be based on these studies.  I am going to TRY to hold back on color and only use 2 or 3 choices with some variance (temperature and chroma). Let value make the statement. So far I used transparent red oxide and shale to create the underpainting.  Hmmm, that's two, already.

In case you haven't guessed already, I am still blogging everyday. I will have to rename the blog since it won't be a new painting each day. Instead it will be plein air paintings, small nuggets of information, paintings in process, finished work and occasional interviews. Does that sound good? The question is what should the new baby blog's  name be?

1. Painting Everyday- A three year old blog moves forward
2. Painting Each Day "Old enough to walk but young enough to fly."(Sam's quote -Sam of Samartdog)
3. Painting, Life Goes On

Please send your ideas!

PS I may take some weekends off from blogging..we will see.

If you change the name then will we need to change our blogs we follow list? I would say 'A painting life' blog for your new blog name but I think that name might be already taken. I think you are incredibly dedicated to the life of an artist and it is very inspiring to follow your work here on your blog. Whatever name you decide on I am sure it will be fine, do let us all know in case we need to change the blogs I follow listing.

Weekends off? I think not! Haha ... Loriann, I am happy to check in on your progress whether you post every day or once a week. I like a name for your blog that includes "Life" since you put so much of yours into it.

You have really caught that blinding sunset look in these latest works and I love the tonalist look of the oil!

How bout just Loriann Signori? I think that's such a cool name!

I see something with your name, and with the word vitamins. The daily meme might be less prominent for you, but I see the same intensity.

Although daily paintings were all the rage a while back, you're one of the few who have maintained that pace. Proving that great artists think alike, The Colorist posted today about thoughtful quality (I hope that's an apt paraphrase, Casey).

Your time is your own. Call your blog what you want (thanks for the mention). No matter which name you choose and/or what you post, we'll all be here eagerly following!

Hi Caroline, I do not know the answer to your important question, but before I do anything I will find out. Thanks for your input!

Hi Donna!
Yeah, I dream about a weekend off someday...but I have this crazy work ethic that won't let me stop. I tell myself if Andrew Wyeth worked everyday, including Christmas, there's no reason I can't. My husband Paul has other ideas. He hopes someday we will have a paint-less vacation. haha Seems like you and Caroline have the same idea about "life." Thanks for your input!

Hi Janelle, a cool name, that's so funny I never thought of it that way...it was just my name! Thanks for your input!

Hi Casey,
Good points! thanks!

Hey Sam! Thanks and good points as well!

I agree that the name of the new blog should have your name in it. How about "Loriann Signori Paints" and a subscript "life goes on" or "old enough to walk but young enough to fly" (I love that one!)?

With your name in the title, I think that people can search for it more easily. Just a thought.
