I love your interpretation of early morning light in this one, Loriann. Interesting shapes, good contrast and a pleasing composition ... there are paintngs all around us just waiting to be noticed!
You are so right Donna. So many times we pass by them on our search for the holy grail. We must keep in mine that we make the painting. Paint on my friend!
I really love this one Loriann! the colors glow. I haven't commented for awhile but I do love all the paintings you post even if sometimes you are not happy with them. You do such wonderful atmospheric paintings. this one is a little different and I love that you are switching it up a little with the mark making. but I do love your soft glowing atmospheric ones too. The colors in this just sing:)
Hi Sara, Thank you for your thoughtful comment. I am delighted to hear that you enjoy my postings. This one was fun and frustration. I kept working and working trying to find satisfaction and that is how the mark making began. No intention there. I simply had too much pastel on the surface and I had to find another way to have the surface accept more pastel. Turning lemons into lemonade. heeeheee! Thanks again!
