12 x12 pastel on watercolor on Uart paper

Mid-afternoon, down at Great Falls park the light through the trees appears emerald colored. It's all different now.

Thank you everyone for your support.

So sorry to hear of your friends passing.Keep at it Loriann. I lost my brother unexpectedly at 39 yrs. of age. Without painting I don't how I would have gotten through it.

Thanks Brian. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your brother. We can never replace the people we lose...just find room for new ones.
Painting is definitely the way to care for oneself.

This is so atmospheric and it pulls the viewer into the landscape. It has a lovely sense of place.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

It is like a dream, and your commentary for this post seems to refer to more than just the post (?), and it's appropriate to the image.

Your work has an ethereal quality to it lately. Is it coming from your dreams?
